About the Role

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the video production process, from pre-production to post-production, effectively manage a team to deliver high-quality content on time. The Senior Video Editor should have excellent technical skills, including proficiency in video editing software and a strong eye for aesthetics. The ability to work efficiently under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively communicate with stakeholders is essential.

Responsibilities

1. The day-to-day tasks performed by Video editors involve a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail and RND on the content as per the market trend and requirement.
2. Professionals are required to have extensive working knowledge of sophisticated editing software, such as Premier Pro and After effects, in order to digitize or import audio and video footage.
3. Lead the creative team in the video production process, from initial setup to the final product
4. They must also organize footage in a way that conveys the intended message to target audiences.
5. Video editors are also responsible for mastering finished products in time and archiving existing projects to ensure that sufficient resources exist to allow for new projects.
6. Sr. video editors could be required to work under pressure, since the job frequently entails editing high-quality videos under tight deadlines.

Requirements

1.  Min 4 years of experience as a video specialist or similar role.
2. Previous work experience as a video editor.
3. Develop titles and motion graphics using software programs, such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere pro, After effects and Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer and Lightworks.
4. Good Organizational skills and ability to work on a tight schedule.
5. Good communication skills, since they often work closely with clients and other production personnel, such as audio engineers, production coordinators and lead editors.
